Esther Ladean Wilson, 88, formerly of Hutchinson, passed away with her family by her side Jan. 17, 2015 in Mesa, AZ. She was born July 11, 1926 in Topeka, the daughter of James and Ruth Little Goodson.
Esther was the Manager of the former Kona Kafe and the Islander Club.
On Feb 12, 1972 she married Harold Wilson, he survives of the home. Other survivors include her beloved children, Patricia (Mike) Morrissey, Leawood, Melvin “Mobo” (Cathy) Wright, Trevor, WI, Cathy Drljaca, Franklin, WI, Michael J. (Tammy) Wright, Buhler, Joy (Tony) Aune, Milwaukee, WI, step-children, Anita (Larry) Graves, Hutchinson, Larry (Marion) Wilson, Pea Ridge, AR, 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00am, Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to services, burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Memorials may be given to American Lung Association in care of the funeral home.
