Sharon K. Murphy, 74, died Jan. 19, 2015 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Oct. 3, 1940 in Peru, KS, the daughter of Roy C. and Mildred Pierson Lamb.
was a longtime Reno County area resident and was retired from Cessna/Eaton Fluid Power Division, Hutchinson.
She is survived by two sons; Larry Thompson, Oklahoma City, OK, Thomas McClanahan, Wichita, KS, two daughters; Sherri Holman, Port Orchard, WA, Regina Sorrells, Mertzon, TX, partner, Loyd Lewis, Hutchinson, KS, two sisters; Twila Wyckoff, Copan, OK, Charlotte Bennett, Grove, OK, a brother Timothy Lamb, Hutchinson, KS, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Burleson, a brother, Jimmy Lamb, three sisters; Goldie McCaslin, Arvilla Hueston and Christine Turner.
Memorial service will be 1:00 PM, Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the National Kidney Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
