Diana L. Stoecklein, 50, died January 16, 2015 at her home in Hutchinson. She was born September 2, 1964 in Chalmette, LA, the daughter of Orville and Jo Ann Watson Sparkman. A resident of Hutchinson the last 6 years, she had lived in Houston most of her life. She was a homemaker and had attended St. Teresa Catholic Church, Hutchinson. On December 28, 1995, she married Darold Stoecklein in Houston, TX. He survives.
Other survivors include her mother and step-father, Jo Ann and Earl Romano, Houston, TX, 2 sons, Darian and Dalton, both of the home, a step-daughter, Kristen Mixon, Hutchinson, 2 step-sons, Matthew Stoecklein, Kansas City, MO and Bruce Stoecklein, Hutchinson, 2 brothers, Michael and LeRoy Sparkman, both of Houston, TX, and 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Cremation is planned. Per her request, no services are planned. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
