Margaret Lillian Clark, 88, died Nov. 24, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born Nov. 25, 1925 near Talmage, KS, the daughter of William and Margaret Broadfoot Mustard. She graduated from Abilene High School in 1943 and Kansas State University in 1947.
She was a Homemaker, but had also taught school in Medicine Lodge and was head of food service as a Dietician for USD 309. She was also active working at the Kansas State Fair for 24 years and had been a 4-H Leader.
On July 25, 1948 she married Bill Clark in Abilene, KS; he died June 10, 2012. Survivors include her four sons; Richard Clark and wife Grace, Bella Vista, AR, Larry Clark and wife Rhonda, Valley Center, KS, Kent Clark and wife Sharla, Hutchinson, KS, and Kirt Clark, Destin, FL, and a daughter, Tina De Leon, Hutchinson, KS, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers; Floyd and Wesley Mustard.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with the family to greet friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Memorial service will be 10:00 AM, Sat. at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Private family inurnment will take place. Memorials may be given to Elmdale Community Center or the Reno County Cancer Council, in care of the funeral home.
