Eusebio O. Jasso, 86, died Nov. 5, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 14, 1928 in Jalisco, Mexico the son of Eleuterio and Bonifacia Oliveras Jasso.
He was a Foreman for Continental Grain Company for 20 years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and was a member of the G.I. Forum. He enjoyed gardening, making homemade tortillas and taking care of his dogs.
After marrying Mary (Cuca) Torres, June 9, 1949 in Mexico, they immigrated to Mission, TX in 1950, they later moved to Hutchinson in 1954. Mary preceded him in death, Jan. 20, 2011. Survivors include his seven daughters; Rosa Fast, Lydia Jasso, Jane Ramirez, Concha Duarte, Josefina Harper, Lupe Jasso all of Hutchinson, Angie Farris, Lafayette, LA, two sons; Cruz Jasso, Emporia and Pete Jasso, Hutchinson, five sisters; Toni Mora and Anita Del Valle, Hutchinson, Jane Hajj, Pottstown, PA, Petra Rodriguez, Ellsworth and Mary Rangel, Sand Springs, OK, twenty grandchildren; Tony Babson, Jeff Babson, Kim Thompson, Aaron Jasso, Nick Jasso, Tom Jasso, Celena Mears, Bevo Cole, Lee Cole, Kayla Jasso, Nicole Jasso, Mary Thibault, Sarah Duarte, Adrienne Duarte, Christopher Sotomayor, Ian Sotomayor, Kathy Finecy, Lillie Jasso, Anthony Cantu, and Elias Jasso-Cardenas, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Frank Jasso, grandson Alex Duarte and a sister Merse Juarez.
Parish Rosary will be 7:00pm Sunday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church; burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 9:00pm Sat. and 1:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday. Memorials may be given to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church or Trinity Catholic High School in care of the funeral home.
