Heather D. Cornick, 36, died November 2, 2014 at her home in Hutchinson. She was born January 29, 1978 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Greg and Cindy Harris Smith. A resident of Hutchinson most of her life, she was a homemaker. She married Frank Cornick on July 2, 2004 in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Khalil Baugh, Hutchinson, 2 daughters, Naliyah and Aneesa Cornick, both of Hutchinson, 2 grandchildren, a sister, Cortney Smith, Hutchinson, maternal grandparents, James and Juanita Lanham, Hutchinson, a niece, Hannah Kitts, and several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held from 1-9PM Sunday, with the family present from 2-4 that afternoon, all at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Heather Cornick Children's Memorial Fund, in care of First National Bank.
