Deloris Ann Williams, 65, died December 22, 2013 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1948 in Shreveport, LA, the daughter of Jimmie and Mattie Hurts. She was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by sons, Phillip and Marrio Williams, daughters Tasha (Keith) Pettis, and Geralyn (Corey) Smith, brothers, DeArdis (Laurie) Hurts, Sr., Jimmie (Sarah) Hurts, Jr., Gregory (Terri) Hurts, Roger Maple, Sr., a sister, Hannah (Alex) Felix, a granddaughter, Akeira Pettis, grandsons, Derek and Aundrey Williams, John Allen and Shaquille Henderson, nieces Doris and Syl Maple, Renita (J. Roy) Hudspeth, Vanessa Hudspeth, Arrissa (Jarron) Clark, nephews Roger (Vicki) Maple. Jr., Jeffrey (Starla) Maple, DeArdis Hurts, Jr., a multitude of grandkids, great-nieces and nephews, and great great nieces, who all loved her dearly and a very special friend, Rollie (Doug) Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Alice Maple.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Hutchinson, with Reverend William Green presiding. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held from 1-9PM Thursday and 9-9PM Friday, all at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Soup Ministry, in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
