Maxine Sanderson , 92, of Hutchinson, died October 1, 2013 at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born August 28, 1921 in Saratoga, Texas, the daughter of and Floyd and Minnie White.

A 1940 graduate of Texas City High School, she was a member of Carey Park Women's Golf Association and Highland Golf and Supper Club. She prided herself as a devoted and loving homemaker and she was an excellent seamstress.

On April 28, 1945 she married her beloved William Archie Sanderson in Texas City, Texas. He died November 5, 2007.

Maxine is survived by two daughters, Cathy A. Rayl of Hutchinson, and Cynthia L. Bossemeyer of Wichita, KS; 5 Grandchildren - Tallie (Jeffery) Ewing of Wichita, KS, Steva Bossemeyer of Wichita, KS, Aaron (Kelly) Rayl of Hutchinson, KS, JP (Lindsey) Rayl of Hutchison, KS, and Brandi (Nolan Oglesby ) Rayl of Wichita, KS; 5 Great-Grandchildren - Jaylen Ewing, Javante Ewing, Noah Rayl, Maddison Rayl, and Ivey Rayl; and son-in-law - Scott Rayl of Hutchinson, KS.

She was preceded in death by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside will be held in Resthaven Cemetery, Wichita.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice House or Alzheimers Association in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory.
