Michael "Mike" Joseph Nachtman, 50, died July 6, 2015, at his home, Hutchinson. He was born August 25, 1964, in Beloit, to Verna Foster. In September 1964, he was delivered to his forever home and adopted by George Joseph and Lucy Jenny Lyon Nachtman.
He grew up in Salina, attending Sacred Heart Catholic Schools and graduated from Salina South. He had worked with adults with disabilities at Rescare, Starkey both in Wichita, and TECH, Inc., Hutchinson, to name a few.
He married Christine Koehn in 1992. They divorced. On October 17, 2009, he married Stacie Lynn YBarra. She survives. Other survivors include: a daughter, Stephanie McNabb; brother, John, Garden City; sister, Lisa Bradley, Salina; uncle and aunt, Edwin and Donna, Chambers, Neb.; aunt, Genevieve Nachtman, Loveland, Colo.; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Sunday July 12, 2015, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, South Hutchinson. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday July 13, 2015, at the church, with Father Ned Blick presiding. Cremation will follow the funeral services. Memorials may be sent to Cause for Paws, or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in care of Penwell Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
