Henry E. Zelenka, 71, of Hutchinson, died peacefully surrounded by his family and those who loved him on Sept. 29, 2012. He was born March 13, 1941 in Salina, KS the son of Henry Sr. and Minnie Walters Zelenka.
He was a graduate of Salina Central High School and was retired from the Rainbow Bakery, Hutchinson. He was a member of the Christian Motorcyclist Association and had attended Victorious Life Church and The Venue.
On Jan. 23, 1986 he married Barbara Weide in Hutchinson, she survives of the home. Other survivors include two sons; Christian Zelenka and Jeff Rogers (Mollie), Hutchinson, three daughters; Debbie Fuller, Shawna Rogers, both of Hutchinson, Pam Grimm, Dallas, TX, brother, Ronald W. Zelenka (Cheri), Hutchinson, two sisters; Karen Sales, Olathe, KS, Mary Patten, Freehold, NJ, 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa, a brother Stanley and a sister, Dorothy Imler.
Funeral Service will be 11:00am Friday, Oct 5 at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastors James Francis and Scott Miller presiding. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 9:00pm Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with the family present from 7:00 to 9:00pm. Memorials may be given to C.M.A. Run for the Son or Gideon’s International, in care of the funeral home.
