Beverly A. Hensley, 81, died February 9, 2014 at Hospice House, Hutchinson. She was born November 12, 1932 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Donald and Leola Cole Greever. She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and had attended Hutchinson Community College. She had worked for Dillons for several years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Red Hat Society, and the Hutchinson Postal Auxiallary. She had worked for the Kansas State Fair and had volunteered at the Fox Theatre. On Feburary 27, 1954 she married Ed Hensley in Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include 4 children, Karen (Don), Henderson, Wichita, Ron (Cindy) Hensley, Albuquerque, NM, Patty (Craig) Fletchall, Great Bend, and Diane (Nand) Kumar, San Jose, CA, a brother, Richard (Betty) Greever, Hutchinson, and 9 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Greever.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, with Pastor Robert Albin presiding. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held from 9AM to 9PM Wednesday, with the family receiving friends from 6-8PM that evening, all at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House, in care of the funeral home.
