Woodrow “Woody” Wilt, 101, died Dec. 21, 2014 at Golden Plains Health Care Center. He was born July 28, 1913 in Plevna, KS the son of Harry and Edna Clement Wilt.

He was a longtime Nickerson resident and was a self-employed Television and Radio repairman.

On April 2, 1938 he married Mary I. Berry in Attica, KS, she died Sept. 10, 1995. Other survivors include a son-in-law, Bob Korf, Nickerson, KS, brother, Warren Wilt, Abbyville, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Korf and his parents.

Graveside service will be 10:00 AM, Friday Dec. 26 at Wildmead Cemetery, Nickerson, KS. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
