Karen G. Devries, 70, died Nov. 30, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born July 18, 1944 in Newton, the daughter of Clarence and Estella McGee Perry.

Survivors include her children; Jean Parker, Hutchinson, Jason Hanke, Wichita, her sister, Sandra Walton, Wichita, three grandchildren; Brandon Royston, Nicole LaGree, Lutisha Davis, and four great-grandchildren; Myah Davis, Kayden Davis, Collin Davis, and Keyshawn Parker. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion William Harrist, a daughter, Shawn Remington and sister, Betty Baerg.

Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. Memorials may be given to the Karen Devries Memorial Fund in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
