Charlotte Kay “Katie” Hodgson, 68, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2015. She was born June 25, 1947 the daughter of James Rex and Eva M. Allen McAnally.
She had been the owner and co-owner of several antique shops in Hutchinson over the years. She was a member of the 11th Ave Chapel.
On January 13, 1970 she married Roger Hodgson in Sterling. He survives. Other survivors include her two daughters; Michelle K. Dick and Hope Selby, both of Hutchinson, five sisters; Sharry Richardson, Hutchinson, Linda Burris, Blackwell, OK, Kathy Specht, Coleridge, NE, Terri Zwickl, Coleridge, NE, Della Harmon, Hardy, AR, and three grandchildren; Jacob Dick, Natalie Dick and Matthew Selby. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Michael Todd Cox, a brother, Dale Harmon and a sister, Denise Harmon.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 10:30am, Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Earlene Ratliff presiding. There will be a book to sign from 9:00am to 9:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the American Lung Association or Hospice of Reno County.
