Karalee Clobes, 75, died June 27, 2015 at the Kansas Medical Center, Andover. She was born June 5, 1940 in Shawnee, OK, the daughter of Garland and Geraldine Sanders King.
A longtime Hutchinson resident she was a homemaker and was previously employed at the former F.D. Enterprises. She was a member of Crossroads Christian Church and was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and longtime friends. Her home was a safe, comforting gathering place.
She married George Clobes on June 18, 1957 in Wichita, he died February 23, 2011. Survivors include her five children; Donald Clobes and wife Ann, Inman, Debbie Wilczak and husband Ronald, Topeka, Becky Clobes, Hutchinson, Sherri Goertz, Hutchinson, and Mark Clobes and wife Julie, Eudora, her brother, Richard King and wife Nancy, Wichita, 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Don King.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Crossroads Christian Church with Pastor Wayne Pittman presiding. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Memorials may be given to Crossroads Christian Church in care of the funeral home.
