Helen Trezise, 87, formerly of Hutchinson, died March 2, 2015 at the Eudora Medicalodge. She was born April 8, 1927 in Fort Collins, CO the daughter of David Sr. and Katherine Kraemer Miller.
A Hutchinson resident since 1949 she was retired from Hutchinson Hospital as a Sterilization Technician. She was of the Lutheran Faith. She was an avid gardener, a member of the Ostomy Club, she loved to crotchet and play bingo, and was a seamstress, and loved to bake for her family and friends, and especially baking cookies for her grandchildren.
On Aug. 14, 1948 she married Willard E. Trezise in Fort Collins, CO, he died Jan. 19, 2002. Survivors include two sons; Jim Trezise Sr., Hutchinson, Tom Trezise Sr. (Vicki), McPherson, three daughters; Barbara Little (William), Lawrence, Deanna Lemen (Don Jr.), Wichita, Peggy Perry (Mark), Hutchinson, a brother, Edward Miller (Sylvia), Fort Collins, CO, a sister, Erma Petersen (Merle), Apache Junction, AZ, 17 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00pm, Friday at Fairlawn Burial Park. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 9:00pm Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, with the family present from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Memorials may be given to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter or the Alzheimer’s Association in care of the funeral home.
