Violet M. Billings, 82, died September 24, 2014 at Elm Grove Estates, Hutchinson. She was born Aug. 16, 1933 in Virgil, KS, the daughter of Marvin and Martha Owen Crawford. A resident of Hutchinson all of her life, she was a homemaker. She married Luther Billings in 1952. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister, Barbara Burke, a daughter, Tanna Shore, Granddaughters, Shannon Southard, Stacy Billings, and Dedra Billings, Grandsons, Shane Southard and Tristen Billings, and a great Grandson, Aaron Southard.
She was preceded in death by a son, Teddy, a daughter, Pamela Billings, and a great granddaughter, Shayna Graham.
Cremation is planned. A private family service will be held at a later date, per her wishes.
