Virginia Grace Myers, 75, died September 22, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born September 5, 1939 in Wichita, the daughter of Loyd and Evelyn Hause Magby. An Army wife of William Myers, Sr., most of her life, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include 2 sons, William Myers, Jr., Hutchinson, Kenneth Myers, Bennington, KS, 3 daughters, Patty Jury, Chapman, Nancy Davenport, Ames, Iowa, Susan Johnson, Hutchinson, a brother, Earl Magby, Beaverton, OR, 3 sisters, Arlene Berner, Lebanon, OR, Ruth Spradlin, Vanita, OK, and Lois Wardman, Cherokee Village, Ark., 16 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson, with Jimmie Wray Mead presiding. Burial will follow at Laurel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-9PM Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Samaritan, in care of Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson.
