Toshiko "Tina" Roberts
1929 - 2014

Toshiko "Tina" Roberts, 84, died April 21, 2014 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. She was born August 15, 1929 in Kagoshima-Ken, Japan. A resident of Hutchinson since 1975, she had worked in maintenance at the Reno County Courthouse. She spent time at the Delos Smith Center, Hutchinson. She enjoyed fishing, Bingo, and traveled with her husband to numerous countries and had lots of friends all over the world. She married Paul Roberts on October 10, 1962 in Japan. He died July 21, 2000.

Survivors include sister in laws Mercedes Robinson and husband Robert B., Hutchinson and Jessie McCurtis, Hutchinson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Hutchinson. Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Visitation will be held from 9AM to 9PM Thursday, with the family receiving friends from 6PM to 8PM that evening, all at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Reno County Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, in care of the funeral home.
