Rhett E. Harper, 55, passed away, April 18, 2014. He was born Sept. 12, 1958 in Hutchinson, KS the son of John Riley and Beverly Anne (Moore) Harper.
Survivors include a son, John Riley Harper II and his wife Megan, Wichita, daughters, Jonell M. Harper and Josephine L. Harper, both of Houston, TX, Holly M. Harper, Hutchinson, seven grandchildren; Acacia, Adrian, Avri, Travis, Messiah, Harper and Gabriella, aslo a sister, Teja Dick, . He was preceded in death by two brothers; Blaine and Riley Harper.
Funeral services will be 2:00pm Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, family and friends will gather at the Haven Community Building immediately following. Visitation will be 9:00am to 9:00pm Wednesday, with the family present from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the Rhett E. Harper Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
