Pam Leatherbury, 61, of Hutchinson, died Feb. 5, 2010 at the Reno County Hospice House. She was born May 2, 1948 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Marcel and Detris Miller Pruter.
She was a 1966 graduate of Hutchinson High School and had attended Hutchinson Community College. She had worked for the former Kingsley-Wagner Auto Supply Company, Dillon’s Bakery, and more recently for Hutchinson Community College and Hutchinson High School.
On May 1, 1971, she married Jim Leatherbury in Hutchinson, he survives. Other survivors include her mother, Detris Pruter of Hutchinson, and a niece Janelle Pruter of Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by her father, and a brother, Jeffrey Pruter.
Funeral Service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park. Friends may call from 9:00am to 9:00pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Reno County Hospice House in care of the funeral home.
